I’m Kiara Negroni-Martinez (she/her), a New York City–based multi-hyphenate artist working across theater and music. My work lives at the intersection of performance, sound, and text, and is guided by a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach to making art.
I received my BFA from New York University, earned a Master’s degree from Berklee College of Music, and completed advanced training at Playwrights Horizons Theater School, where I trained as a performer, director, producer, writer, and production designer with a specialization in sound. This holistic training continues to inform my creative practice, allowing me to move fluidly between roles while remaining grounded in ensemble-driven processes.
In addition to my artistic practice, I am deeply invested in theater education. I teach at multiple levels, working with emerging and developing artists to strengthen their technique and creative confidence.

I am currently developing my career as a writer, creating original theatrical and musical works that explore intimacy, transformation, and the ways people imagine better futures for themselves. Across disciplines, my work is driven by a commitment to rigorous craft, meaningful collaboration, and the belief that theater can be both artistically bold and deeply human.
